Cookie Policy

We use only what is needed to sign you in, keep the platform secure and remember your theme. No advertising trackers.

1. What This Policy Covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Coach Manuals uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small text file that a site stores on your device. Local storage works similarly but keeps data in your browser rather than sending it with each request. Both let a site remember things between page loads.

2. Our Approach

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the service, to keep it secure, and to remember the display preferences you choose. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run third-party tracking pixels, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Because we set no advertising or non-essential analytics cookies, we do not display a consent banner. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent requirements under the ePrivacy Directive and comparable rules; you can still block them in your browser, though the Service will not work properly without them.

We do not set cookies at all on the public manual and check-in pages beyond what is required to serve them securely.

4. Third-Party Cookies

A small number of cookies are set by providers acting for us: Cloudflare for bot protection and network security, and Stripe during payment. Those providers use them for the purposes described above and in accordance with their own policies. They are listed in our Subprocessors page.

We do not permit any third party to set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies through the Service.

5. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings, where you can view stored cookies, delete them, and block them for particular sites or entirely.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using your account. Clearing cookies signs you out and resets your theme preference.

We honour Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires it. Since we do not sell or share personal information and serve no targeted advertising, such a signal does not change our processing.

6. Do Not Track

There is no consistent industry standard for responding to browser Do Not Track signals, so we do not respond to them differently. Our practices are the same for all users: no cross-site tracking, in any case.

7. Changes and Contact

If we introduce any cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and obtain consent where the law requires it before setting it.
